🎨 Algorithmic Art Exhibition
What happens when Python becomes a creative medium?
As part of the PyCon Experiences at PyCon Greece 2026, we’re bringing together the results of our Algorithmic Art Open Call, showcasing visual artworks created by members of the Python community through code, algorithms, and creative experimentation.
The exhibition explores the different ways Python can become a tool for artistic expression, transforming ideas, mathematical concepts, rules and algorithms into visual works.
You’ll be able to discover a selection of digital illustrations, generative compositions, procedural patterns, mathematical artworks and other creative coding experiments, created by members of our community.
The artworks will be presented through a combination of printed pieces, screens, and projections, allowing you to experience the work in both physical and digital formats. Alongside each artwork, you’ll also get a glimpse into the Python code and creative process behind it.

- Angeliki Diamantopoulou
Angeliki is a student in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering at the University of West Attica, exploring where code becomes art through generative scripts. - Eyitayo Alimi
Eyitayo is a product and community builder focused on AI-powered digital safety, cybersecurity, and accessibility. She is the creator of CyberSentinel AI and other community-centred safety initiatives exploring how Python, AI, and practical security tooling can help detect scams, improve online trust, and build safer digital experiences.
She is an AI & Cybersecurity Researcher and Practitioner. - Graham Lyons
Graham Lyons is a software generalist with a fondness for Python and nearly 20 years of professional experience. He has worked for the BBC and eBay, amongst other companies, and has been working freelance since 2017. Graham is very keen on writing tests before code and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle that make it possible to deploy to production as soon as possible. - Herve Aniglo
Herve Viho Aniglo is a musical programmer who can create songs, music, beats, and sounds in many programming languages. He can create artwork and pictures by coding in different programming languages. - Neha Sainath Naik
Neha Sainath Naik is a Salt Lake City based creative technologist working at the intersection of computational geometry, color science, and generative art through code. - Purva Porwal
Purva Porwal is AI/ML Manager in a financial firm with nearly a decade of experience across organizations. She specializes in Conversational AI and Natural Language Processing, driving innovative solutions across finance and telecommunications. Passionate about AI-driven transformation, she continues to explore emerging technologies and their potential to create meaningful impact. - Vyron Vasileiadis
Vyron Vasileiadis is a Technical Lead at Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, where he develops quantum software infrastructure for superconducting quantum systems, from pulse-level control and SDK design to HPC integration. He is pursuing a PhD in quantum control, focused on pulse optimization and high-fidelity gate design. Beyond his engineering and research work, he is a regular speaker, trainer, and mentor, and serves on the Advisory Board of DevNetwork.
